(速報)イラク戦争への任官を拒否したワタダ中尉、軍法会議で無罪の模様
「イラクで行われている大儀の無い不道徳で違法な戦争には指揮官として任官できない」と命令を拒絶したかどで軍法会議にかけられていた米陸軍のワタダ中尉が無罪になった模様。

"The war in Iraq is in fact illegal. It is my obligation and my duty to refuse any orders to participate in this war. An order to take part in an illegal war is unlawful in itself. So my obligation is not to follow the order to go to Iraq." - Lt. Ehren WatadaVictory! – Lt. Watada is not going to jail tomorrow, next week or next month.
Lt. Watada's case ended in a mistrial. Ehren has not been found guilty and his attorney Eric Seitz thinks it is unlikely the case will be re-tried. A new trial has been scheduled to begin on March 19 – the Fourth Anniversary of the Invasion of Iraq - the judge couldn't have given us a better day to organize against the illegal war and occupation!
